The Varna Prosecutor's Office is expected to extend the detention of the prosecutor's son by the Burgas Appellate Prosecutor's Office for up to 72 hours.
The young man was arrested after an operation by the Burgas Organized Crime Department.
He was under surveillance for a long time by anti-mafia agents.
By order of the acting Chief Prosecutor Borislav Sarafov, the investigation has been transferred to the Varna Prosecutor's Office in order to guarantee impartial and effective work on the case.
