The District Prosecutor's Office – Varna is leading an investigation into a serious criminal offense committed in the city. The case concerns the murder of a 48-year-old woman, committed in the early hours of September 18, 2025 in the “Chaika“ residential complex.
We recall that the woman's body was found earlier today.
According to initial data, the victim died as a result of stab wounds inflicted in the heart area. The law enforcement agencies have taken immediate operational and investigative actions, and information has already been collected pointing to the possible perpetrator.
Interrogations of witnesses, appointment of experts and additional investigative actions are pending in order to fully clarify the facts and circumstances surrounding the crime. The work on the pre-trial proceedings continues under the leadership and supervision of a prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office - Varna.
Residents of the neighborhood are in shock from what happened, and the law enforcement agencies assure that they are actively working to reveal the perpetrator and the motives for the serious crime.
