Bloody murder in Peshtera. A man stabbed a woman and stole a phone and money from her house, the police reported.
On September 27, around noon, a signal was received from the local emergency department in Peshtera about the discovery of a lifeless body of a woman in a house located in the cave district “Pirin“.
According to the initial data received, traces of violence were found. Teams of forensic experts and police inspectors from Peshtera, as well as employees of the “Countermeasures against Criminal Crime“ sector were immediately sent to the scene at the ODMVR-Pazardzhik.
It was determined that this was a murder of a 62-year-old woman from Peshtera. The body was transported for an autopsy to the Forensic Medicine Department at the Pazardzhik Hospital.
As a result of the operational and search operations, the forensic experts tracked down the perpetrator. It turned out that he is a 48-year-old caver and lives in the same neighborhood as the victim. The man is an old acquaintance of the law enforcement agencies, he has registered criminal acts. The knife with which the serious crime was committed was found, as well as a sum of money and a mobile phone stolen from the victim before she was stabbed and killed.
The perpetrator was detained with a police measure for a period of up to 24 hours. The investigation is under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
