"We saw a lot of blood downstairs, we saw the boy lying downstairs. I touched his hand and he was very cold. Then my husband took him in his arms and told the security guard to help us get out". This was stated to bTV by Svetla Borisova, a witness at the scene of the murder in the mall.
She explained that she was in the mall with her husband and grandson. "When we entered the mall, we heard a lot of screams, we went upstairs and saw the boy down on the ground. The crowd that gathered around the boy told us that he had been stabbed," the woman shared.
She added that after her husband took the boy, they managed to get to the car. "Stefan put him in the car and I don't know how we got to "Pirogov". The boy was inadequate, his eyes were closed and he wasn't talking," explained Borisova, adding that the doctors at the hospital did not cooperate, arguing that it was not a children's ward. They gave them a wheelchair and took him to the intensive care unit. By then the boy had already passed away.
People are demanding life imprisonment for the mall killer.
And yesterday, Svetla and her husband, along with hundreds of relatives, friends and sympathizers of the family of 15-year-old Krasimir, who was fatally wounded with a knife in a Sofia mall, protested in front of the State Department of Internal Affairs.
They demanded life imprisonment for the perpetrator, stricter laws, as well as security for all children. Due to his tender age, he could receive up to 5 years in prison.
