The director of the National Patients' Organization, Dr. Stanimir Hasardzhiev, has been permanently detained in custody on charges of coercion, for which a firearm was used. This was confirmed to NOVA by the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office.
In addition to him, another man is in custody, and two others are under house arrest. Hasardzhiev's detention came about after a 20-year-old boy complained that he was being held by force in Hasardzhiev's apartment.
The investigation data showed that the young man was also given a cocktail of drugs. Meanwhile, the National Patients' Organization, whose director is Hasardzhiev, convened an extraordinary general meeting. It turned out that the NGO's account was empty, and he was the only one who could dispose of it.

Dr. Hasardjiev was detained by police officers on Saturday along with three other people - a Bulgarian actor, a Greek model and a former soldier from the French Foreign Legion. According to unofficial information, they detained the boy against his will with a firearm and used drugs.
The following Tuesday, on October 28, there will also be a measure in the Sofia City Court, where all four accused must be present.
