A new tragedy shook the Burgas village of Lyulyakovo just days after the brutal triple murder. The uncle of the 25-year-old accused Fahri Mustafa - Kemal, hanged himself in his home, reported "Flagman.bg".
The suicide occurred last night, October 24, after the man was under lengthy police interrogation. The news of his death was from this morning, October 25. Investigators were checking whether Kemal was complicit in the serious crime on the night of October 20-21.
We recall that Fahri Mustafa was then detained for the murder of his mother (47 years old), his aunt (73 years old) and his 13-year-old sister. According to the investigation, he shot the victims, and knife wounds were also found on the bodies, and then set the house on fire. His 7-year-old brother was also wounded by a firearm and hit with a rifle butt, but managed to escape and save himself with neighbors.
The main problem facing the investigation remains the lack of the weapon of the crime - a hunting rifle, which has not yet been found, the police announced on October 22. Uncle Kemal was summoned for questioning precisely because he is a hunter and there were suspicions that Fahri may have used his weapon.
According to "Flagman.bg", citing its sources, yesterday the investigators established "a connection between the relative and the crime". It is alleged that there were doubts that Kemal may have helped his nephew hide traces and bloody clothes after the murders. Fahri Mustafa himself denies having committed the crime, and communication with him is difficult, the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry reported earlier.
Due to systematic violence, Fahri and his father Selim had restraining orders not to approach the family home.
