A specialized operation to combat the possession and distribution of narcotics was carried out at two different locations yesterday. During the police actions, searches were carried out at two addresses in the regional city. At both locations, forensic experts found and seized hemp plants in various stages of growth and a large amount of dry marijuana.
It was established that the plants were grown in three rooms equipped with high-tech irrigation and air conditioning systems. The “Greenhouses“ were equipped with modern equipment for growing vegetation - lamps with appropriate temperature, ventilation, filters, temperature and humidity control devices, and others. Separate rooms were also discovered suitable for drying and cleaning the finished product. During the procedural actions carried out, three electronic scales and a certain number of Ecstasy tablets were found and seized. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated under Article 354c of the Criminal Code.
The work on the documentation continues under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
