Two men aged 37 and 20 have been injured in a beating in Chirpan.
The younger one has been hospitalized with various injuries and is in danger of life, the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Stara Zagora reports.
Two men aged 29 and 19 and a 17-year-old boy have been identified as the perpetrators of the act. The three have been detained for up to 24 hours.
At 7:00 yesterday, the Regional Directorate in Chirpan received a message from a 25-year-old man that he had seen two men in a helpless state near the entrance to a health facility in the city. A police team was sent to the scene and the identities of the victims were established.
The 37-year-old man reported that three strangers had beaten him and that his mobile phone and wallet with an unspecified amount of money were taken from him. The two were transported to a health facility in Stara Zagora. The 37-year-old was provided with medical assistance, refused to be hospitalized and was released.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Stara Zagora.
