One of the escaped prisoners in Lovech is brought to court

One of the two who escaped from the prison dormitory in Lovech on November 2 is facing court today for the escape, Bulgarian National Radio reported.

The district prosecutor's office has filed an indictment against one of the two 21-year-olds who escaped from the prison dormitory on November 2. The case is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The two were serving light sentences for theft, but escaped from the dormitory on the evening of November 2.

One of the escapees was captured just an hour after the escape near the prison, and the other - in the early hours of November 3 in the yard of an uninhabited house on the central "Bulgaria" boulevard in Lovech. Previously, the police had blocked the exits of the city, and over 40 law enforcement officers participated in the operation.
