New, more serious charges will be brought against the four youths who participated in the beating of the director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Ruse. This was reported by BNT, citing its sources from the investigation.
The investigative authorities have completed their work on the case, and all the necessary expert reports have already been prepared. The factual situation surrounding the incident has been fully clarified, which allows the procedural actions to move to the judicial phase.
The materials on the case have already been submitted to the Regional Court - Ruse. The first hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, November 13. Back in September, when the case caused a wide public outcry, the court in Ruse issued an official position guaranteeing impartiality, justice and objectivity in the consideration of the case.
Currently, three of the participants in the fight with the police director are under house arrest. They have been under surveillance with electronic bracelets for two months.
The fourth participant in the incident, who is a minor, has been placed under the supervision of the Children's Pedagogical Room. In the meantime, it became clear that the 15-year-old boy has taken legal action against the state prosecution. He is suing the prosecutor's office under the State Responsibility Act, claiming that he was illegally detained in the period from September 5 to 13.
