Cars between 5 and 10 years old are the most stolen in Sofia. This is shown by the statistics of the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs, provided after a request by bTV.
Cars manufactured between 2015 and 2021 are the most common target of car thieves.
For the first nine months of the year, 187 cars were stolen in the capital, which is about 50% less than the thefts for the same period last year.
However, in the last month alone, five car thieves were detained in Sofia.
In the latest operation with the participation of the "Cobra" squad Two criminals are once again in custody.
