Police officers detained a 21-year-old man for beating and damaging someone else's property in the Shumen village of Struyno, the Ministry of Interior's Department announced.
According to the investigation, on December 3, he and two other people broke into a private property in the village. The man broke into the home and broke a TV, a table and a chair. He then beat two men, aged 45 and 21 - a father and son.
A little later, the perpetrator was identified and detained for up to 24 hours at the police station in Shumen. It was established that the cause of the beating and the damaged household property were unresolved personal relationships.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
