The Sofia City Court will hold an injunction hearing in the case against the former leader of "Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov and the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Bozhidar Bozhanov, BNT reports.
The two are accused of attempting to coerce the former Minister of Electronic Governance from the "Denkov" cabinet Alexander Yolovski.
In early October, the prosecutor's office filed the indictment against Petkov and Bozanov with the court.
According to the indictment, in October 2023, in a Sofia establishment, Kiril Petkov aggressively told Yolovski that he must coordinate his actions with Bozhidar Bozanov when he fired people appointed by Bozanov.
The former leader of "We Continue the Change" threatened that if he did not follow the orders, negative consequences would follow for Yolovski, the prosecutor's office also claims.
The accusation against Bozhidar Bozanov is that in his capacity as Minister of Electronic Government in 2022, he violated the Law on the Protection of Classified Information and gave an advantage to a consortium of companies in winning a public procurement contract.
