The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has brought to criminal liability a 45-year-old man who committed hooligan acts.
The evidence collected so far indicates that on 25.01.2026. around 20.00 in the “Vrazhdebna“ district in the city of Sofia, the accused K.O. committed indecent acts, grossly violating public order and expressing clear disrespect for society.
He took out a gas-signal pistol and fired two shots at the face of V.G. The act is distinguished by its content with exceptional audacity.
Pre-trial proceedings are underway in the case for a crime under Art. 325, para. 2, s. para. 1 of the Criminal Code. In the course of the investigation, it has been established so far that K.O. committed the hooligan acts after a dispute between him and the victim over a parking space.
K.O. was convicted in the past, but was rehabilitated. Given the possibility that the accused may commit a crime, by order of a supervising prosecutor, he was detained for a period of up to 72 hours.
A request for the determination of a measure of detention in custody against K.O. is pending.
