Tension arose in Lom due to lewd acts against minors, for which a resident of the city is accused and who is currently on a "subscription" measure, bTV reports.
A report of the crime was made on the last day of January. People organized very quickly, insisting that the perpetrator be evicted and detained. The court imposed a "subscription" measure on him, but the prosecutor's office immediately decided to protest this decision.
Nedko, the father of the girl for whom a report was filed, found out about what happened from his wife.
„The child does not want to share with me. And he told my wife“, he says.
“She cried a lot, she was afraid of her father - to tell. She told me because he came in under the pretext of looking for my husband for work“, says Ivanka.
“She is very scared, she wakes up in the evening, crying... And it is simply a tragedy for me and my family. She does not want to hear anything. She is afraid that she is free. We simply want justice. Not only for us, for all the children. Now that this has happened here. When she is free, something else could happen“, the child's mother also commented.
“After their case - the child does not tell me, she tells her uncle. "And I immediately filed a report," says Daniela, the mother of another victimized child.
She took her daughter to the doctor and found out what had happened. The man threatened the girl that if she told, he would burn the house down, beat him, his mother and his sister.
The court and prosecutor's office's announcement makes it clear that the man has been convicted, but it is not specified for what.
People in Lom have information from police that the man has confessed - about several children. They cannot explain why in this case he was released on a "subpoena" measure.
„To be free, to be at home, with his family, to eat well, normally. "Like a normal person, as if he hadn't done anything wrong," parents commented.
During one of the previous protests, it almost turned into a riot.
„I'm the person who stopped them so there wouldn't be riots. But now I'm not stopping them. Now I promise that from today's protest onwards - houses, cars, whatever, everything will be set on fire. And most of them have no business here in this city. If there is no justice," commented a resident.
