A 48-year-old man from Sveti Vlas has died after a fight this morning in the center of Sunny Beach.
At around 5:30 a.m., two groups – one of five men from the village of Orizare, and the other from Sveti Vlas – met at a hotel in the center of the complex, and after drinking alcohol, a fight broke out between them.
A security company team was called to the scene, which prevented a physical clash and the two groups separated. The group from Orizare headed to a 24-hour grocery store, and one of the men from the other group was spotted walking nearby. A verbal and physical altercation ensued, and the 48-year-old fell to the sidewalk and died.
The five from Orizare have been detained for 24 hours at the Nessebar Police Station. The autopsy is expected to show whether the man died due to a health problem or the blows he received. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
