Two men have been detained after a scandal and indecent behavior in a grocery store in the Pernik village of Dragichevo, the police announced.
The report was filed on April 4 at around 4:20 p.m. by a sales consultant, who reported that two men were committing acts that grossly violated public order.
A police team arrived at the scene and found that the perpetrators were a 32-year-old man from Sofia and a 28-year-old local resident. Both are criminally active and were under the influence of alcohol.
During the attempt to detain them, the men resisted, as a result of which a police officer was slightly injured.
The two were detained for a period of up to 24 hours under the Ministry of Interior Act, and expedited proceedings have been initiated in the case.
Following the investigation, the 32-year-old man was brought in as a defendant and detained for a period of up to 72 hours by order of the prosecutor's office.
A request is pending in court for the imposition of permanent arrest.
