On the day of 04/04/2024, a large amount of money in different currencies was taken from a house in the town of Kostinbrod – leva, euro, British pounds, US dollars, many gold ornaments, watches, incl. one gold tablet brand “Samsung“. The funds have a total value of about BGN 180,000.
Criminal proceedings began with a view of the scene of the accident, and subsequently with searches and seizures under conditions of urgency. Physical evidence was seized. A video technical examination of the recordings from video surveillance cameras was appointed and prepared. The perpetrators of the crime have been identified. Initially, one of them was detained - N.S. (48 years old), and a few days later in the village of Burzia, Montana region, and his accomplice - N.I. (aged 47).
From a criminal record report it is clear that N.S. committed the act under conditions of dangerous recidivism, after having been convicted of a serious premeditated crime. By decree of the supervising prosecutor, the two were brought as defendants. At the request of the District Prosecutor's Office – The Sofia court took measures to keep “retention in custody“ against the accused persons, the press center of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office announced – Sofia.
