67-year-old photographer Dinko Ivanov Georgiev from the town of General Toshevo was killed after a remark about loud noise, reports pronewsdobrich.bg, citing information from relatives of the deceased.

On August 13 (Wednesday) at around 10:00 p.m., a fight broke out between neighbors, which ended after the photographer was knocked to the ground and left unconscious, says his son Ivaylo Georgiev.

The incident occurred after his mother asked the neighbors, who were making noise and smoking hookahs, to stop because they were disturbing their peace. From their side, the woman received verbal attacks. She went home, and a little later her husband and son came out to the yard to seek an explanation for the rude tone. Then a group of 7-8 people turned against them. It came to a physical fight, and after a signal was given to 112, the police and an ambulance arrived at the scene.

Today, the General Toshevo District Court imposed a preventive measure of "detention in custody" on the accused of the murder.

Georgiev is well known and respected among his fellow citizens. He was a photojournalist in the local newspaper - initially in "Leninski zov", and after 1990 and to this day in "Dobrudzhanski glas".

For many years, he also maintained his own photography studio in the Dobrudzhan town. In addition to artistic photography, he is also involved in the production of souvenirs and unique items, printing and screen printing.

For the past 15 years, Georgiev has been a member of the Control Council of the Cooperative "Democracy".

The visitation and funeral will take place on August 20. From 09:00 to 11:30 in the photography studio, relatives, friends and acquaintances will be able to say their last goodbyes in a visitation, and the funeral will begin at 12:00 in the local cemetery park, relatives report.
