Actress Anastasia Bakardzhieva has died. This was announced by the Union of Artists in Bulgaria on its official Facebook page, FOCUS reported.

In a shared post there, her grandson - actor Stefan Sarchadzhiev wrote:

My grandmother Anastasia Bakardzhieva (09.09.32 - 07.06.25) left our world on the eve of All Souls' Day. She was an aristocrat, an extremely charming woman and a caring grandmother and mother.

She played the iconic Kalinka from the film "Cunning Peter", directed by my grandfather Stefan Sarchadzhiev. Her other roles in cinema are: Dafina in “Dawn”, Vera in “Tsar's Mercy”, Druzhinnata in “The Captain” and Irina in “Thirteen Days”.

For twenty years she was an assistant director at the National Theater “Ivan Vazov”.

The memorial service will take place today at 12:00, in the funeral hall of the “Memorium” agency. The address is: “Oporska Reka 3”.
