Actor Alec Baldwin was involved in a car accident in New York City with his brother Stephen, TMZ reported.
According to court records, the accident occurred in East Hampton, where the Range Rover the Baldwins were in crashed into a tree. Photos from the scene show the actor talking next to the wrecked vehicle.
There is no information yet on the cause of the accident or who was driving the vehicle.
Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with an incident on set. The case was dismissed in July 2024 when a New Mexico court accepted the defense's arguments that prosecutors had concealed certain facts that could be related to the incident.
The shooting incident on the set of the film “Rust“ occurred in October 2021. The only person convicted in 2024 was Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who worked as a weapons technician on the set. The court found her guilty of manslaughter and sentenced her to 18 months in prison.
