A murder case has been opened in the southern Finnish city of Kotka after a husband stabbed his wife, a Russian-born artist, the Ilta-Sanomat newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, the woman painted and organized various art exhibitions, which featured not only her own works, but also the works of other people.
The man suspected of killing his wife is a writer. He publishes novels and poetry, but works in the technical field.
The incident occurred on the night of May 9-10.
