Girls and bachelors perform the ritual Easter dance Mara Lishanka. In a house where there is no deceased child, girls gather and make dolls from three slippers of three girls or young brides. This doll represents a decorated girl or bride. After this, the group of girls goes to a certain place in the village, where the doll is entrusted to the hands of a young girl with living parents. Here, the ritual dance takes place, accompanied by dance songs and choruses, similar to those of the laduvaneto. The game represents the symbolic theft of a girl or bride, in this case a doll, by the bachelors, who participate in the game quite energetically.
In addition to the marriage purpose, this game is also loaded with another meaning - to protect the bachelors from snakes and wild animals. At the end of the ritual, the group goes to the river, where they drown Mara Lishanka in the water or let her swim down the river.
