A curious find was discovered near the Sredets village of Debelt in the archaeological reserve Deultum, BNT reported.
Remains of a man who was more than 2 meters tall were found during rescue excavations.
Anthropologist Assoc. Dr. Viktoria Ruseva, who is working with the teams of the National Archaeological Reserve Deultum, is expected to answer whether the man had a specific disease such as gigantism.
From the reserve they also share about another find - a double grave where the heads of the deceased are facing each other. After the anthropological examination of the bones, the age, gender and cause of death of the two will be determined.
