The early riser Zlatimir Yochev turned 39

The host of the early block "This morning" on bTV, with which countless Bulgarians start their day, Zlatimir Yochev, celebrates his 39th birthday today.

Maria Tsantsarova's TV partner was born on October 3, 1985 in Haskovo. He studied at the Russian High School in his hometown. After that, he graduated in journalism and a master's degree in organizational management at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski“. He worked as a journalist and TV presenter at the Bulgarian National Television, Bulgaria On Air, BiT.

From March 1, 2021, he is the host of “This morning“.

He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists since 2015, a part-time lecturer in news and current journalism at the New Bulgarian University. Three times he was chosen as the host of the year in Bulgaria ON AIR, and in 2017 he was also awarded by the Bulgarian Teachers' Union with the “Journalist of the Year“ prize.

In December 2022, he was awarded a diploma from the "Heart and Speech Against Drugs" competition. in memory of the Irish journalist Veronica Guerin.

The presenter and TV journalist Marina Tsekova, who is a year younger than him, have two daughters - Tamara and Sandra.
