A girl has been arrested in Zimbabwe for kidnapping her ex-boyfriend and raping him, local newspaper The Herald reports.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 12, in the country's capital, Harare. In the morning, 26-year-old Amanda Chizanga Chakanyuka showed up at the home of her ex-lover, 38-year-old Linos Gapanga. The girl was accompanied by five other companions. They accused Gapanga of raping Chakanyuka, after which she became pregnant.
The man was put in a car and taken to a hotel on the outskirts of the city. There he was dragged to a room rented by Chakanyuka and forced to have unprotected sex with her to "break the spell". The girl's accomplices then took 142 US dollars from Gapanga and disappeared, leaving him at the hotel.
Chakanyuka was arrested. She and her accomplices were charged with kidnapping and robbery.
