A UAZ official car with five treated employees of the regional prosecutor's office fell into the Pyana River near the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, the Telegram channel Mash reported.
A day earlier, two prosecutors and their colleagues celebrated the birthday of one of them. The group of three men and two women, after consuming alcoholic beverages, decided to take a walk around the vicinity of the village of Pilna. The assistant prosecutor of the Pilnin municipal district was driving the car.
Only one of the five managed to get out of the water and call for help. On July 18, divers found and recovered the bodies of the others.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of violation of traffic rules, which led to serious consequences.
