The CEO of the New York-based technology company Astronomer, Andy Byron, resigned after he was spotted hugging an employee at the Coldplay concert, CNN reported, quoted by dariknews.bg.
According to a post on LinkedIn, the board of directors of Astronomer has accepted Byron's resignation and will begin searching for its next boss.
In a previous statement, the company commented on the case, stating in a post on X that it had launched a “formal investigation“ in the case.
“The board of directors has launched a formal investigation into this matter and we will share additional details very soon“, the statement said.
