The Chinese company Dreame has introduced a robotic vacuum cleaner that can climb stairs in the house, PCMag reports.
The device, called the Dreame Cyber X, was shown at the IFA exhibition in Germany. The vacuum cleaner is complemented by the Bionic QuadTrack robotic platform. The robot uses it when it needs to climb to another level in the apartment or go down.
The Bionic QuadTrack, which is charged in standby mode, moves to the vacuum cleaner if necessary and carries it to a new location. Thanks to four robotic rails, the device can actually climb stairs. After cleaning, the machine automatically goes to the charging station.
PCMag journalists noted that modern robotic vacuum cleaners can only work on one specific floor of the room without human assistance. Dreame said that their invention can overcome various types of stairs.
At the exhibition, the Chinese company showed the Cyber10 Ultra robot, equipped with a retractable manipulator. During cleaning, the vacuum cleaner can activate the robotic arm and grab various objects with it - socks, shoes, toys. The machine can move them to a certain place and place them in a box.
Cyber X and Cyber10 Ultra are conceptual devices. Therefore, their price and exact dates of their appearance on sale are not disclosed. But Dreame has promised to bring new models to market in early 2026.
