I just want to say that I like Minister Ivan Hristanov very, very much. He is painfully predictable, which brings me success in the first bet. I had bet that today he would appoint his old friend from Pleven, Angel Mavrovski, as head of the Bulgarian Anti-Fraud Agency, and that is already a fact.
The second bet that I won is that you will not hear a word about Angel's private company "Mavrovski VET" EOOD, of which, according to the registers, he is both the owner and manager. To date, there have been no changes recorded, which suggests that Mr. Mavrovski simultaneously manages the state-owned BFSA and his private company, which carries out activities that are under the regulations of the BFSA. This is not a conflict of interest at all and no corruption environment is being created at all.
The Minister today, when presenting his avere, stated that they are depoliticized, but again failed to announce that he appears in the register of political parties as the chairman of the "Unity" Party.
This is in terms of publicity.
Yesterday I asked Minister Hristanov to announce what he intends to do regarding the issue of the genocide against the family and farm of Bai Riban, but so far I have not received an answer.
Apparently, the publicity that Minister Hristanov promises is highly selective and is limited only to lifestyles and tourist trips to the ministry. However, such are not provided in the BFSA building, which is guarded like a gold vault.
