"The first in time" is first and by right. We saw this clearly in DPS… It turns out to be enough to make a clone to see that a whole party can thus be taken by registering it. And this is already litigated. Peevski hit Dogan. That's clear, but how much it will hurt. Because pain is something that is felt. Ahmed Dogan knows what pain is, but he did not expect the “phenomenon” to be so phenomenal as to take his party and cause him pain. Well, Delyan Peevski proved that he is a phenomenon, and he was also “the boy”, as we heard later.
And this story would have been very comical, not that it isn't now, but it also has very big consequences for Bulgarian politics. One thing is that the reputation of DPS has fallen, but who will be more of a factor from here on.
Certainly, the electoral weight of both DPS parties will decrease, because DPS voters will have to choose between Peevski and Dogan.
We have always heard Boyko Borisov, as the leader of GERB, say that he works well with the DPS in the parliament, but to rule - never, but now…
With Peevski or with Dogan?
What happened, actually. Borisov and Peevski were very close to governing. Only the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet had to be voted on. It was only necessary for the DPS to be monolithic, to be united, to be together. But Ahmed Dogan “pulled the brakes“ of this management project. This is how the DPS split. Could Borisov have refused Peevski to form a minority government… Rather not. But Ahmed Dogan saw something in this “assembly” and ruined it. After that, we heard from Tsvetan Vasilev (KTB) that Peevski has enough kompromats against Borisov. If this is so, it becomes clear why Borissov accepted a minority cabinet. Apparently, Dogan saw something here to intervene.
Did Dogan save Borisov from Peevski…
Why not. Borisov and Peevski have a lot in common, but will they rule together… It's getting more and more impossible. We are talking about clear management. Under the implicit rule, things are clear - Peevski and DPS were always well protected by GERB when they were in power. Just remember a few days ago how the two parties “defended“ Anton Slavchev, who is part of both anti-corruption commissions.
Having DPS as a monolithic party behind you is not bad. But it won't be the same with Peevski's DPS alone. It will not be a whole DPS, but something from the DPS.
Do you just need something from DPS?
Peevski's influence in DPS is visible, it is clearly and simply explained – a new beginning. But if Peevski reaches out to GERB as well. If she asks Borisov for something that he does not want to do. If Peevski seeks influence in GERB? It is clear that there is no one there – at least at this stage, let Borisov's erbab come out. It wasn't even in DPS until a few years ago, but now… It will “explode” Is GERD like DPS? And so we see silence on the part of Borisov, who does not want to take a clear position. But he doesn't like it. Not only Borisov does not speak much, but also other key figures in the party – Dobrev, Donchev, Bikov, Georgiev, etc., have pretty much shut up. DPS at two, we see that, and GERB at two… Then who will be the first political force…
We heard Borisov reaching out to the BSP (b.r. - something unthinkable until recently and sounding like an anathema in native politics) and INT. Of course, in the name of the state. GERB, one of the two DPS, BSP, ITN… With GERB in two, we will have the “league of small players in the parliament”. Very small, because there are no large ones… Except for Peevski!
