I cannot understand for what reason more than 70 percent of the list leaders of PPDB are nominated by PP. After the last elections, in which PPDB lost about a third of its voters, it became obvious that "Yes, Bulgaria" is the largest (in terms of number of voters) party in the coalition.

This commented on "Facebook" Ognyan Minchev.

At first glance, this is an intra-coalition issue, but on "second glance" it is obvious that such an imbalance in representation compared to the real political popularity of the individual parties carries the danger that the coalition will continue its erosion towards smaller and smaller electoral results.

Already on the eve of the first pre-election coalition between PP and DB, the alternative option was well known for the two parts of the coalition to appear separately in order to maximize the number of votes from their supporters, and after the establishment of the new National Assembly to unite in a parliamentary union - general parliamentary group.

This possibility is constantly thwarted - and without obvious and transparent arguments.

The only possible bonus of the pre-election coalition with PP for DB is from the system of preferences - DB always had more popular candidates capable of collecting the preferential votes of the voters. However, this may prove to be too insufficient a tool to offset the trend of declining support for the coalition as a whole.
