Lately, our entire country has been obsessed with the name Delyan Peevski. They broadcast all his statements on the sidelines of the parliament on television (he only speaks there), then we read his statements on television.
Peevski made a proposal, shared an idea for state food stores with limited prices - it is accepted. He himself wants to make a donation - done. Peevski has covered with his tentacles like an octopus all corners of our political, social and sports life.
The judicial system is his, the prosecutor's office - completely his, commissions, agencies, the BSP, the Gerbove, the ITN and every other party organization stands and listens to what he will say Peevski ordered her. This one - a candidate for chairman of a commission, that one - for the constitutional court. It was allegedly established that the most irregularities were related to the counting of votes in Peevski's sections, and it turned out that he gained the most from the reshuffle of the parliament.
All the media in one voice announce - Peevski's man was elected, this one was nominated by Peevski. Is there no other politician besides him who is a political figure worthy of mention? It is obvious that Peevski does not encounter any obstacles, that he is treading water without anyone opposing him and he is the only one who dictates what should happen in our democratic homeland. He is supposedly the opposition, but he supports the government and especially GERB. The political establishment mainly complies with him.
All this gives me reason to think that the “phenomenon“, according to the definition of its creator, will indeed very soon rule our beloved homeland 100% and will become its shining symbol. And he must have been wearing a magnetic belt... I ask because no one has convincingly explained what his inexhaustible energy and activity are due to and why his proposals are being implemented. No one has presented evidence why we should hate him, since the ruling party adopts his ideas. Why do the PPDB proposals, also populist, not find a response in the party environment, but Peevski's do?
Personally, I explain it by the fact that there are no other leaders who can oppose him with better ideas for the people and with greater energy. While others are lowering themselves, Peevski is acting. It doesn't matter who is in power - GERB, BSP, PPDB. He does not formally enter a coalition of the majority, but he attaches himself to it, begins to dig in until he establishes himself as an insurmountable factor. All parties before the elections declared – – – – but after the elections, in order to save the majority, they are ready to accept its votes.
Peevski's people do not care which party is in power, the important thing is to be with it. They are always the friend of the winner. That is why there is no way that “the boy” can be pushed away from the government. He is always inside him. And not because others want him, but because he settles in alone, without asking permission. However, he does not meet any resistance. Against the background of the disinterest of the Bulgarian people.
