Toma Nikolov: Let's thank Radev for uniting us for the euro and reminding us where our real enemy is!

The Alternative

FAKTI.BG publishes opinions with a wide range of perspectives to encourage constructive debates.

About a month ago I wrote that "alternative" will be the word of 2025, because alternatives are being sought in world trade, in leadership, in alliances, etc. And tonight I will tell you about an alternative reading of Radev's statement from yesterday.

This was commented on "Facebook" Toma Nikolov.

My friend claims that Radev actually said:

"Come on, postpone this euro for a little longer, because some of my oligarch friends still have some money to launder..."

That another friend of mine is shouting - it doesn't prevent both from being true: both that he was urgently activated by Moscow, and that he wants to help the friends he was introduced to after he became president.

But would he be useful to these friends?

I don't think so...

Today, a lame, a crippled, and even a scoundrel, jumped on Radev and accused him of wanting to sabotage the euro. If until yesterday there was any possibility that we would postpone entering the eurozone for a year or two, either for technical reasons or for some other reason, today that possibility no longer exists. Everyone will compete to demonstrate readiness - politicians, ministers, bankers, experts, officials, just so that it doesn't turn out that they are sabotaging the process in Radev's favor. It's a bit of a disservice if he aimed to delay the euro.

I call out to thank him because he united us on the issue of the euro and reminded us where our real enemy is!

I'm not saying not to impeach him!!!

I'll repeat again - it doesn't hurt for both to be loyal, how useful is it for a national traitor to be to the nation with his betrayal?!?

And somehow I'm not afraid of Radev. Politically, he's a corpse and we'll see him drifting with the current very soon. But the fear of him doesn't come from his importance as a politician, but from that of a military man and commander-in-chief. Let me be direct - I heard many people fear that he will stage a coup, seeing that there is no other path to power open to him. And even if he wanted to - he CANNOT! You can't stage a coup with aviation, and the ground forces hate Radev to the core, because over the past eight and a half years he has forgotten that they exist.

And what will he offer the generals - a junta so that they will have a benefit in helping him? Of course not! Why then should the generals bet their heads on Radev? So that the one who overthrows him will cut them off for them in a year or two?

And staging a pro-Russian coup seems more like a hypothesis to me. True, there are quite a few pro-Russian officers in the army, but almost none of them want to live in a Bulgarian version of Putinism. So sleep well!

Radev is already in the past and the malice and anger that he has generously sprinkled in recent weeks are only proof that he has also begun to realize his insignificance! That Radev from the photo has already been defeated, humiliated and rejected even by those who once raised him!

Sic transit gloria Muni!

(Thus passes the glory of Muny!)
