FAKTI.BG publishes opinions with a wide range of perspectives to encourage constructive debates.

I always remember the GERB slogan "Visible results". We see all the results - another national catastrophe, impoverishment, crumbling infrastructure, unprofessional attitude everywhere, clumsy and sluggish, and also thieving administration.

We see the poor next to the garbage cans. We see pensioners collecting pennies for a bucket of yogurt. We see young people fleeing Bulgaria as if from a crime scene.

This is what Elena Guncheva-Grivova commented on.

The poverty line was set at 764 leva - this is approximately the pocket money of an MP for two or three days. About a million and a half Bulgarians live with much less money. How they survive is unknown. And mortality and diseases in Bulgaria are increasing. Many people literally die of poverty - because they cannot afford quality food, as well as medicines.

Our population according to statistics is six and a half million people. In practice, there are about five and a half million in Bulgaria, the others have left here. Of these five and a half million, one and a half million are BELOW THE POVERTY LINE. That is, they are miserable, they have a hard time surviving.

And this is in EUROPEAN BULGARIA. For 35 years now, there have been no socialism and communists to hinder us. Why did it happen that instead of everyone living well, some suddenly got rich, and others suddenly became poor to the point of complete paupers?

Poverty and misery are the visible results of GERB. GERB is the leprosy that is eating away at Bulgaria. Borisov is the leprosy. He has not only brought us to a national catastrophe, but he also clearly wants to drag us into war. He is harmful, dangerous, deadly. Whoever allied with him has been eliminated. He is currently in a panic because he is starting to lose control and is ready to do anything, just to keep his life and money. And instead of paying, he is putting the future of Bulgaria and our people on the counter.

Look around. Crumbling buildings, unfinished and abandoned buildings, rubble everywhere. Roads with potholes, without guardrails. Administrations with employees who look at you as if you are poisoned when I asked them to do their job. A corrupt judicial system. Police whose main task is to protect power from the people.

No, Euro-Atlantics, we are not a European country. And we are not an Asian one, unfortunately. We are an African country, and from the Third World. GERB has brought us to this point.
