Iga Swiontek has consolidated her good form and won the title of the UTA 500 tennis tournament in Seoul, which has a prize fund of over 1 million dollars, BTA reports. The Pole (No. 1 in the schedule) defeated the Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova in a contested final with 1:6, 7:6(3), 7:5 in 2:46 hours of play. The second in the schedule, Alexandrova, started very strongly and gave only a game to Swiontek in the first set.
The second part began with a quick exchange of breaks to reach a tiebreak, in which Swiontek prevailed with 7:3. The decisive third set was again contested, with the Polish tennis player making a key breakthrough in the 12th game and closing the match 7:5.
This is Swiontek's third trophy of the season and the 25th in her career.
