Bayern Munich with eighth consecutive victory in the Bundesliga - 1

Bayern Munich achieved their 13th consecutive victory in all competitions after defeating Borussia Monchengladbach with 3:0 as a guest with 10 players. And since this is the eighth round of the championship, the Bavarians have eight victories and are at the top with 24 points, BTA reports.

After a goalless first half, Vincent Kompany's team scored three goals after the 64th minute, when Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring. Rafael Guerreiro doubled the lead five minutes later, and young talent Lennart Karl (pictured) shaped the final score in the 81st minute. The match was a real match between the first and the last, and Bayern arrived at their opponent's stadium late, which forced a later start to the match.

Jens Kastrop from the home team was sent off in the 18th minute for a foul, but even with 10 men they could have reduced the deficit. Kevin Stöger missed a penalty in the 75th minute, before youngster Karl made it 0:3.

With this success, Bayern equaled the record set by Milan (Italy) in the 1992/93 season, when they had 13 consecutive victories in their first 13 matches. These are the only two teams in the top 5 European leagues to have such a streak.
