Zografski finished sixth in the ski jumping in Wisla - 1

Vladimir Zografski took sixth place in the second start in the men's large hill in Wisla (Poland), a round of the Ski Jumping World Cup, BTA reports. After Zografski recorded a record fourth position for himself and Bulgaria at the World Cup in Ruka at the end of November, seven years after he finished sixth again on Finnish soil, today he ranked sixth in Wisla.

This is also the third top 10 ranking this season for the Samokov athlete, who was ninth on the small hill in Falun (Sweden).

The Bulgarian passed the qualification earlier today with a fifth result, and in the actual competition he collected 268.7 points after a jump of 129.5 meters in the first round, after which he was seventh in the standings and 130.0 meters (132.9 and 135.8 points) in his second jump in the final stage.

The winner of the second start in Wisla was Domen Prevc. The Slovenian topped the standings with a total of 282.3 points after jumps of 137.0 and 132.0 meters (137.6 and 144.7 points).

The gold medalist in the small hill and silver medalist in the large hill from the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Ryoyu Kobayashi (Japan), finished in second place after collecting 281.4 points (130.5 and 129.5 meters), and third place went to Philipp Raimund (Germany) with 276.8 points (131.5 and 129.0 meters).
