More trouble for the Kings after the loss to Celta: Mbappe with a broken finger, Militao out for several months - 1

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe broke his finger on his left hand during the 0-2 loss to Celta Vigo in the 15th round of the Spanish championship, COPE reported, quoted by BTA.

The striker suffered the injury at the end of the first half after a collision with defender Oscar Mingueza. Mbappe continued to play after doctors bandaged his finger.

The 26-year-old Frenchman will play against Manchester City in the sixth round of the Champions League. The match will be held on Wednesday, December 10. Kick-off time is 22:00.

Mbappe has played 21 games for Real Madrid in all competitions during the 2025/26 season, scoring 25 goals and providing 4 assists.

Eder Militao suffered an injury during Real Madrid's match against Celta, and the worst predictions came true, Topsport reported.

The initial examinations have already caused serious concern at the club.

The club has issued an official statement that reveals the seriousness of the problem.

"Following the tests carried out on our player Eder Militao by Real Madrid's medical services, he has been diagnosed with a rupture of the biceps femoris of the left leg with involvement of the proximal tendon. "His development will be monitored," Real Madrid explained in an official medical report.

This diagnosis means that the central defender will be out of action for between three and a half and four months.

Milittao's absence leaves a huge gap in the defensive wall of the "royal club" and puts the coaching staff to a serious test.
