Napoli's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who has been out since August due to injury, resumed training with the team on Tuesday, ahead of the Champions League match against Benfica, AFP reported.
Lukaku suffered a knee injury on August 14 and trained alongside his teammates today, currently doing different exercises.
The Belgian is unlikely to return to action against Benfica tomorrow. He scored 14 goals and made 10 assists in Serie A last season. As he left the pitch, Lukaku told reporters: "See you soon".
32-year-old Romelu Lukaku is one of coach Antonio Conte's favourites, having won the Italian league title with Napoli last season, and the Belgian has also played for Inter Milan and Roma in Italy.
Napoli are in a modest 20th place in the Champions League with 7 points from five matches so far.
