Copenhagen achieved a surprising success with 3:2 as a guest of Villarreal in an early match of the 6th round of the Champions League program tonight, sportal.bg reported.
The match was played at "Estadio de la Ceramica" in Villarreal.
Mohamed Elyounoussi opened the score for the guests from Denmark with a goal from the locker room in the 2nd minute.
Santi Comessaña equalized in the 47th minute. Just a minute later, however, Copenhagen took the lead again through Mohamed Ashouri.
Tani Oluwaseyi restored parity in the 56th minute.
Andreas Cornelius gave his team the victory in the first minute of added time of the match.
The Danes are 23rd in the standings with 7 points, while Villarreal remain winless in the Champions League and are in the unenviable penultimate 35th position with 1 point.
