The Appeals Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) reduced Dimitar Dimitrov-Hero's punishment from three matches to one, Topsport reported.
The sanction was imposed by the Disciplinary Committee after the match with Lokomotiv Sofia from the 19th round of the championship. Then, in addition to a ban on performing his functions for three matches, Helo was also fined 3,000 leva.
Following an appeal from Botev Plovdiv, the Appeals Committee also reduced the financial sanction by 1,000 leva.
Thus, Dimitrov practically served his punishment, as he watched the match with Spartak Varna for the Bulgarian Cup from the stands.

The Appeals Committee, after familiarizing itself with the circumstances of the appeal and considering it on its merits:
DETERMINED:
The appeal of PFC "Botev" is admissible and well-founded.
ApK on the basis of Art. 62 para. 3 of the DP 2025/2026 amends the punishment imposed on Dimitar Dimitrov by the DC and imposes under art. 34, para. 1, item 5, item 6, proposal 4 - a ban on performing functions for 1 meeting and a fine in the amount of 2000 leva.
The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
