The Olympic champion from Moscow 80' in the bars Assen Zlatev, who was elected the new president of the Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation by voting at the General Assembly of the BFWT, held on Monday, told "Focus" that he will wait for the court's opinion.

Until then, he and his team will remain silent regarding the claims filed by the clubs "Hristo Bachvarov" (Sliven), "Apolon" (Stara Zagora) and CSKA.

Earlier today it became clear that on December 16, three complaints were filed with the Sofia City Court and the procedure for entering the new president and the Management Board into the Commercial Register has been suspended. The claims are from "Hristo Bachvarov" (Sliven), "Apolon" (Stara Zagora) and CSKA. The head coach and representative of the Sliven club is Plamen Bratoychev, the leading figure of "Apolon" is coach Evgeni Tanev, and of CSKA - Yanko Georgiev, who was appointed head coach of the national teams under Stefan Botev. All three at the meeting were among the supporters of the current president of the Bulgarian Football Union.

From "Focus" contacted the headquarters of Bulgaria's weightlifting star Carlos Nassar, but they also stated that they are refraining from commenting on what happened for the time being.

The Olympic and three-time world champion supported Assen Zlatev in his fight for president of the Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation.
