Erling Haaland scored twice as Manchester City beat West Ham 3-0 at home to move one point clear of Arsenal, who will visit Everton this week, BTA reported.
City dominated West Ham in London and scored their first goal in the fifth minute when Haaland found the back of the net after a deflected shot. The Norwegian also registered an assist in the 38th minute, after passing to Tijani Reinders and he left the goalkeeper no chance.
Holland scored his second goal in the 69th minute and now has 19 goals in the Premier League after just 17 games. He is eight more than Igor Thiago of Brentford.
The Brazilian, a former Ludogorets player, played the full 90 minutes, but failed to score against the tail-ender Wolverhampton. However, Keane Lewis-Potter did it twice and so the "bees" won 2-0 to climb to 12th place with 23 points.
In other matches in the round, Bournemouth and Burnley finished 1-1, while Brighton and Sunderland shared the points after a goalless draw.
