The President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) Vessela Lecheva commented on the performance of the Bulgarian national women's biathlon team in today's 7.5 km sprint at the Olympics in Milan-Cortina. Milena Todorova finished fourth, and the bronze medalist from the 15 km individual start Lora Hristova came in 11th.
"Another great performance by Bulgarian biathletes! 4th place for Milena Todorova in the sprint and 11th place for Lora Hristova! Milena's achievement is the equal best achievement in our Olympic history in the discipline. Our bronze medalist Lora demonstrated today that the success was not accidental. I believe that Milena's tears tomorrow will be tears of joy after winning a medal. We are proud," Lecheva wrote on the social platform Facebook.
