The Spanish rider of Ducati Lenovo Team Marc Marquez won the sprint at the Brazilian MotoGP Grand Prix. He was the fastest in the 15th lap of the track, setting a time of 19:41.982 minutes, BTA reported.
The race was delayed by nearly an hour and a half due to a hole in the track. Marquez crashed out of the first race of the season in Thailand, finishing second in the sprint behind compatriot Pedro Acosta.
Second behind him was Italian Fabio Di Gianantonio (Pertamina Enduro), and third was another Spaniard - Jorge Martin from Arlilia Racing.
Thus, Marc Marquez has earned 12 points, Fabio Di Gianantonio has added 9, and Jorge Martin has 7. The actual race is tomorrow night.
