Tottenham continues to play with fire, losing to Nottingham Forest 0-3 at home. Igor Jesus gave the visitors the lead at the very end of the first half. Morgan Gibbs-White made it 2-0 for Forest in the 62nd minute. In the 87th minute, Nigerian Taiwo Awonyi made it 3:0. Tottenham's striker Mathis Tell was injured and was forced to be substituted. The north London outfit is in 17th position, just one point above 18th-placed West Ham and the relegation zone. Nottingham jumped to 16th place, overtaking the "Spurs".
Earlier today, Newcastle lost 1:2 to Sunderland at home in the regional derby of the 31st round of the Premier League.
Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but the Black Cats" made a turnaround in the second half. The visitors equalised through a goal by Shemsdin Talbi in the 57th minute, and Brian Broby sealed the victory for Sunderland with a goal in the 90th minute.
Newcastle have 42 points and occupy 12th place in the Premier League standings. Sunderland have collected 43 points and climbed to 11th place in the standings.
