Roma defeated Lecce 1-0 at home in the 30th round of the Italian championship, BTA reported.
"Wolves" won hard at the Stadio Olimpico and broke the negative series of five consecutive matches without a win in all competitions.
Substitute Robinho Vaz scored the only goal in the 57th minute. Roma has 54 points and is sixth in the Serie A table, level on points with fifth-placed Juventus. Lecce has 27 points and is in 18th place.
Earlier today Lazio defeated Bologna 2-0 as a guest in a match from the 30th round of the Italian championship.
Dutch midfielder Kenneth Taylor scored both goals for the success of the Roman "eagles". The match could have had a different development, but with 0-0 at the beginning of the second half, Riccardo Orsolini missed a penalty for the hosts. Lazio has 43 points and is in 8th place in the Serie A table, while Bologna is in 9th place with a point less.
Atalanta defeated Verona 1-0 in another match from the round. Davide Zappacosta scored the only goal in the 37th minute.
