England and Uruguay draw in London - 1

Ben White (No. 12) scored his first goal for the England national team, but later committed a foul that led to a penalty for Uruguay and was booed by part of the audience. The defender returned to the squad after a four-year absence and played in the 1-1 draw in a friendly match in London, BTA reports.

The 28-year-old defender had not played for England for personal reasons, but received a new call-up from coach Thomas Tuchel. White appeared as a substitute in the 69th minute and, despite the negative reaction from the stands, opened the scoring in the 81st minute. However, his foul at the very end of the match led to a penalty, converted by Federico Valverde in added time to make it 1-1.

In another test, Germany beat Switzerland 4-3 in Basel after a late goal by Florian Wirtz, who scored twice. Dan Ndoye gave the hosts the lead, Jonathan Ta equalized, and Wirtz also assisted Serge Gnabry's goal. After another goal for the Swiss through Breel Embolo and an equalizer from Joel Monteiro, Wirtz gave the Germans victory in the 85th minute.

Teenager Lennart Karl made his debut for Germany, who ended a four-match winless streak against Switzerland and recorded their first victory over that opponent since 2008.

Spain won convincingly 3-0 against Serbia in Villarreal. Mikel Oyarzabal scored twice in the first half and Victor Munoz added a third after the break. Rodri started for the first time since 2024 and Serbia rarely troubled the hosts.

In Amsterdam, the Netherlands beat Norway 2-1. The visitors took the lead through Andreas Schelderup, but Virgil van Dijk equalised and Tijani Reinders secured the victory for the "Tulips" with a second-half goal.
