Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares has joined Lazio on loan, the club's official website reports. The rental contract with the 24-year-old Portuguese is for the 2024/25 season.
Tavares joined Arsenal in July 2021. In the 2023/24 season, the defender played for Nottingham Forest on loan. The footballer played 12 games for the team.
The Transfermarkt portal estimates the value of Tavares at 15 million euros.
The striker Bertrand Traore joined Ajax as a free agent, the press service of the Dutch club reported.
The 28-year-old footballer signed a two-year contract with the team from Amsterdam.
Before that, the footballer played for Villarreal, where he joined from Aston Villa in February 2024. Traore made 17 appearances for both teams in all competitions last season, scoring one goal and assisting one.
Traore previously played for Ajax on loan from Chelsea. In the 2016/17 season with the club from Amsterdam, he reached the final of the Europa League, where he lost to Manchester United (0:2).
Juventus midfielder Filip Kostic may leave the club, journalist Nicolo Schira reports. According to the source, the 31-year-old Serbian international is not part of the coaching staff's plans for the new season. Crystal Palace, Atletico Madrid and Fenerbahce are fighting for the player.
Last season, Kostic played 33 games and made 4 assists. His contract runs until the summer of 2026.
